Professor De Weerdt will participate in the Object Lessons: Multimodal Analysis of Text Carriers Across Disciplines Conference with the paper "Contextualising Stone Stelae and Stele Inscriptions in Chinese History".

01/12/2023 This symposium will bring together experts from industry and academia to discuss methodological and ontological approaches to modelling and analyzing material infrastructure using Linked Data principles and together distill a number of best practices.

Prof. Hilde De Weerdt (KU Leuven), Dr. Sunkyu Lee (KU Leuven), Dr. Sander Molenaar (IISG), Dr. Taylor Zaneri (IISH), Ms. Wangzhi Xi (PhD student, KU Leuven) will present their work on on the KU Leuven's Digital Humanities Virtual Discussion Group session.

Dr. Sunkyu Lee presented the project and here reasearch at a talk titled "Digital History of Infrastructure in Late Imperial China: Corpus Building, Annotation, and Analysis" at the Institute for Social Sciences at Seoul National University.
