Wangzhi Xi will lead a workshop titled Leveraging Large Language Models for Classical Chinese Language Processing at the 15th International Conference of Digital Archives and Digital Humanities (DADH 2024) on November 29, at National Taiwan Normal University.

On November 26, participants explored the idea of regional material cultures and discussed its strengths and limitations, especially with regard to changes in a region’s material culture over time.

This conference invites scholars from various fields of inquiry, including history, historical anthropology, art history, archaeology, religious studies, and digital humanities, to explore the use of epigraphic sources in comparative and transregional histories of infrastructures.

On November 4, participants discussed how walls did (or did not) matter, both ideologically and practically, to the actors involved in negotiating construction projects.

On 15th October, Professor Hilde De Weerdt will participate in the Sinographic Forays into the Epiverse conference in Paris, contributing to the session on Digital Synergies.
