On 15th October, Professor Hilde De Weerdt presented in Digital Synergies session at the Sinographic Forays into the Epiverse in Paris. This session explored how digital tools are transforming the study of East Asian epigraphy, with discussions focused on shared ontologies, collaborative digital platforms, and the complexities of modeling inscribed landscapes.
Professor De Weerdt presented insights from our research comparing the representation of the same infrastructures or events in stele and gazetteer corpora, demonstrating how digital tools enable us to analyze variations across different sources.
