The reading group titled Frontier society: Creolization and Aesthetic of Relation was organized by ERC project Regionalizing Infrastructures in Chinese History (RegInfra) in cooperation with Prof. Si Yen Fei. The group will discuss Édouard Glissant's works on Archipelago thinking. The talk is relevant to her May 23rd (Tuesday) lecture, as she would like to highlight the role of islands in the talk.
