This study examines the representation of India and the organizational structure of India-related information in Pliny the Elder's Natural History, written in the 1st century CE. It employs a combination of distant and close reading approaches to analyze the India-related content from a spatial and network perspective. The established workflow of dataset curation and network analysis of annotated entities used in this study will be reapplied to event annotations from the RegInfra project database.
