On 1 June, the RegInfra team and Dr. Rainer Simon have been invited to take part in the Showcase Day of the 2026 IIIF Annual Conference & Showcase, where they will present IMMARKUS in both a showcase talk and a showcase workshop.
During the showcase talk, the presenters will demonstrate the highlight features for image annotation, transcription, and analysis in IMMARKUS, a semantic image annotation service with broad functionality, optimized for IIIF collections. The presentation will also provide an overview of ongoing development including region-based image querying and multimodal analysis, and a preview of future development plans.
